Description
Our New collectable trolley ornament has just arrived!
The New Orleans 832 is the third in a series of annual collectable brass ornaments from the Charleston Mint. Each one commemorates a different streetcar in our collection.
The New Orleans car 832 was acquired by the museum in 1964. The streetcar had been featured in a 1947 Life Magazine article when the Tennessee Williams' play " A Streetcar Named Desire" debuted on broadway.
